I got an email from Sal Frisella today…
His words:
The simple idea of YOU improving and having success makes them uncomfortable.
While we're busy playing, they're in the stands, judging.
Most people don't have the courage to play, so they judge
Your mission to improve must be greater than the fear of judgement from others.
we can't control what they say, we can only control what we do
My thoughts:
I spent so many years hearing people say, “you are going to burn out”, “you need to slow down”, “you do too much”, “how do you get it all done”, “do you sleep.”
With those continuous comments I used to second guess myself and the things I did. I always thought, maybe I should slow down, maybe I am going to burn out.
But then I thought, NO! Why do I have to stop doing what I love doing because of what other people think? I know my body the best, I know what I can handle, and it is my choice.
That is why I started posting more on IG, especially with stories. I hope that I can show people that life is too short and life is way too much fun to sit still and do nothing. Ok you don’t need to be as crazy as I am. Because I admit I am crazy, LOL! But I hope I help and encourage people to move a little more and stay active, enjoy, and love life.
If I can do it, so can you!
I am proof that you can be a mom, have a professional career, stay fit and active, and simply do the things you love.
